FALCONS VOLLEYBALL FINISHES SEASON
WITH FINAL 4 RUN!
The CHS Lady Falcons defeated Trinity Presbyterian of
Montgomery (22-25,25-12,28-30,26-24,15-11) in a dramatic
Class 3A quarterfinal match that lasted five games at the state
volleyball tournament Wednesday, 10/28. The third-ranked
Lady Falcons defeated the state's No. 4 team to reach the
State Tournament Final 4 for the first time in CHS history.
CHS fell to No. 1 Bayside 15-25,16-25,21-25 in the semifinal
match. For the tournament, Lauren Gilmore had 26 kills,12 digs
and 5 blocks and Alexis Jones added 20 kills,11 digs and 4
blocks. Suzanne Baltar had 50 assists and 9 kills, Kylie
McDonald led the defense with 16 digs and also had 3 aces.
Amanda Rowe had 6 aces, 6 kills, and 3 digs, Emma
Batchelor had 8 kills. Anna Glosemayer has 3 aces and 3
digs, Tess Forneris had 5 blocks and 2 kills,

For the 2009 Season, team accomplishments include:

FALCONS WILL FIELD FOOTBALL TEAM IN FALL OF 2010
Catholic High School (Pope John Paul II Catholic High
School) announced that it will begin a football program
in the fall of 2010. Collins Hess, former defensive
back for Butler High School and the University of Southern
Mississippi, will be the teams’ first Head Coach.
